Alpha Ministries Canada, a national Christian non-profit organization with its national office in New Westminster, BC, is seeking an experienced, organized, personable self-starter who loves administration.
Alpha has an exciting opportunity for an individual to be at the forefront in supporting the vision and mission of Alpha Canada right across the country. Reporting to the Alpha for Youth National Director, the Youth Administration Coordinator will support the execution of a variety of strategic objectives to help churches and youth leaders reach out to young people in their communities and fulfill their mission of evangelization.
At the core, the Youth Administration Coordinator will be someone with a deep calling from God for youth. They will thrive under structure, communicate effectively, and display joy, positive energy and encouragement to the staff and to those who need assistance regarding resources, events and running Alpha.
The candidate will possess the capability to manage many projects and be very adept at communicating expectations, deadlines and options effectively. A person with attention to detail, time management and excellent administration skills will do well in this position. They will need to have a post-secondary certificate or degree, related executive assistance experience, and two years’ experience in an office environment.
Strengths include a high level of MS Office experience, written and verbal communication and the ability to manage many tasks at once. It would be an asset to the organization if you have experience in event coordination, social media networking and are bilingual in English/French.
