Social Media Community Manager Full Time Temporary

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Social Media Community Manager will be working alongside our small, but high-impact team. BAM Canada equips and gathers Christian business owners across Canada, so the goal of this role will be to increase awareness and interest of the BAM Canada brand, initiatives and events within this target audience through digital means.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in developing social media content strategy.
• Create on-brand graphics and written content that appeals to Canadian Christian business owners.
• Create engagement within members on our branded online community, the BAM Canada Network.
• Conduct research on trends and industry news to develop our strategy further.
• Follow a content calendar, create, and schedule on-brand posts for our LinkedIn account.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Familiarity with Canva, social media calendars, and LinkedIn.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas and content.
• Desire to engage digitally with an audience.
• Strong understanding of design principles shown through creative work.
• Insight into how to reach a target audience through on-brand social media posts.
• Eye for detail.
• Meets the Canada Summer Jobs requirements (found on application form).
