Carey Hall is located within the bustling academic setting of UBC’s picturesque Vancouver campus. We are a small, innovative Christian college entering an exciting time of growth with new theological graduate degree and non-degree programs that are reaching local and international multi-ethnic communities. We also provide student residences and short- and long-term university accommodations and are poised for a building expansion.
As a facilities coordinator, you will provide exemplary service to our accommodation guests by ensuring a clean, well maintained, and secure facility. You will be an integral part of our building operations team to help Carey develop systems and workflow to grow from a 71 unit facility to a 200 unit multi-building facility as we plan for expansion.
The Facilities Coordinator would be ideal for an individual with an interest in serving students and guests who have a Christian faith background to work within a dedicated team with our building operations staff and is responsible for:
· Providing exemplary customer services internally and externally;
· Coordinating our housekeeping, custodial and groundskeeping staff and performing cleaning duties as necessary;
· Performing maintenance work on our building systems and coordinating contractors as necessary;
· Ensuring the safety and security of persons and property within the building;
· Other facilities coordination responsibilities as they may arise.
The position requires liaising with Carey’s internal and external constituencies and working cross-departmentally to accurately “get the job done.”
