Associate Pastor Full Time

To provide pastoral oversight to the aspects of ministry at Christ City Church that relate to pastoral care and community engagement.

The Associate Pastor will develop a deep, strong, and trusting relationship with the Lead Pastor, working alongside him while under his leadership, for the wellbeing of the church body, the strength of the staff team, and the unity of the eldership.
The Associate Pastor will be focused on the acute pastoral needs and the building of community among members of Christ City Church.
The Associate Pastor will be passionate about God’s Word and gifted in teaching and preaching in different teaching contexts, including Sunday gatherings.
The Associate Pastor will work collaboratively with the Lead Pastor on the professional and spiritual development of the staff team.
The Associate Pastor will be a gifted pastor/shepherd who cares for and nurtures the souls of the flock entrusted to us.
The Associate Pastor will oversee the following Christ City initiative/programs/ministries:
Pastoral Care
Community Groups (incl. oversight of the volunteer leaders)
Retreats and Community Events (incl. Welcome Lunches and BBQs)
Prayer and Worship Nights
Missions Support and Oversight
