College Heights Baptist Church has an exciting opportunity for an individual wishing to pursue their calling to work with youth and young adults. Working under the mentorship of the Senior Pastor this individual will be responsible to provide leadership to the young people of our church.
College Heights Baptist Church is located in a young and vibrant community within Prince George, British Columbia. If you join us on Sunday worship service you’ll notice people of various ages and diverse backgrounds unified in worshipping God and seeking His will for their lives through the study of the Bible. Prior to the COVID-19 disruption to our regular worship gatherings, we averaged about 350 on a Sunday morning.

Pastor of Youth and Young Adults
To invest your gifts in helping the body of young believers at College Heights Baptist Church thrill the heart of God by making followers of Jesus who are able to help others follow him.
Bible School training (diploma or degree) with related experience. A man of God who reflects the biblical pastoral qualities in compliance with the teaching of Scripture (Titus 1:6-9, 1 Timothy 3: 1-7), agrees with the Constitution, Bylaws and Doctrinal Statement of College Heights Baptist Church, and believes that God has truly called him into ministry. This requires a willingness to become a member of CHBC.
1) Provide leadership for: Pre-teens Teenagers Young Adults
2) Oversee the growth of the Youth Ministry by:
a) recruiting and training leaders
b) imparting a vision for growth
c) administrating the weekly needs and planning calendar
d) leading and training others to lead youth Bible studies
e) representing CHBC at city wide youth events
3) Meet with youth and young adults for discipleship and counselling
4) Provide platform leadership in worship services and preach when requested
5) Be willing to assist with other duties as required
LINE OF AUTHORITY
1) Accountable to Senior Pastor
2) There will be a yearly evaluation conducted on the basis of the job description
SPIRITUAL GIFTS REQUIRED
A candidate would be gifted in, and demonstrate a love for ministering to youth’s needs, as well as a love for Teaching, Leadership and Administration.
