History Position – A tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor or higher if experience and qualifications warrant. A doctorate in History is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a non-North American area of expertise. To be considered for appointment candidates must be committed to teaching and pursuing scholarship from a Christian perspective and to the mission and the statement of faith of the university. The successful candidate for this position will need to teach a variety of courses from introductory to senior level. Research and publication is required for promotion. Faculty members are expected to be involved within their respective discipline’s professional organizations or agencies. Faculty are expected to be involved in service to the university as well as their church and community.
