ENGLISH ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Edmonton Living Fountain Alliance Church (ELFAC) is searching for a faithful and passionate individual to join our ministry team as an Associate Pastor overseeing our English Ministry. We are a Christian and Missionary Alliance church established in 2008 in Edmonton, Alberta. Our church currently has a Mandarin congregation and an English congregation with 120 members in total. The English congregation has a regular average attendance of 30 people.

The English Associate Pastor shall be responsible and accountable to the Senior Pastor, Elder Board and to the church.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the direction and goals of the English Ministry that are consistent with overall church mission, vision and values.
• Nurture the congregation through preaching and teaching, pastoral care, spiritual leadership, and conducting ordinances.
• Provide support in training and discipling current and future leaders in the English Ministry.
• Assist the Senior Pastor as needed in the accomplishment of ministerial responsibilities for the whole church advancement.
• Provide administrative leadership to coordinate long-range planning and budgeting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Divinity or equivalent.
• Exemplifies a love for Christ, His Word, and the Church, and is a mature follower of Christ.
• Experience in ministering to people of diverse generational and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills in leading and developing personnel and working with a range of people and personalities.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Committed to and doctrinally aligned with the Statement of Faith and Constitution of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), and is required to be accredited by the C&MA.

Compensation:

Total compensation is negotiable based on experience and appropriate guidelines.
