Volunteers are essential to the services Inner Hope provides to inner city youth and families. We rely on the leadership of a stellar Volunteer Coordinator to steward our people-resources well. To maintain the integrity of our organization, and offer the best possible service to a diverse community, we must apply proper care into screening, training, and supporting our volunteers. This part-time position is focused on recruiting, empowering, and supporting volunteers who are passionate about investing in East Vancouver youth and families.
An engaging and affirming relationship-builder who can help others catch a vision, and then nurture their commitment long-term. You are personable and empathetic, comfortable relating to others one-on-one, in groups, and in public presentation settings. Your energy and focused attention will keep our loyal volunteers engaged at all stages of their experience with Inner Hope Youth Ministries. And you’re detail-oriented enough to keep the machine running! Above all, you are a person of integrity and passion for Christian ministry—your servant leadership models the standard we expect from our volunteers.
