Pastor for Justice & Compassion – Little Trinity Church in downtown Toronto, Ontario is seeking to hire a fulltime Pastor for Justice and Compassion beginning September 8th, 2026. Little Trinity is an incredibly diverse community, as the over six hundred people who call Little Trinity home come from various faith backgrounds and walks of life. Little Trinity’s vision is to: Love God, Grow Together, and Serve Our World.
Some of the Ministry Responsibilities of this role would include:
Support the weekly Good Food Market: oversee its running and special events through working with the coordinating team on strategic decisions
Be staff support for other ongoing outreach ministries including but not limited to:CAP (Christians Against Poverty) money course (1-2 times/year)
CIRP (Church in Regent Park) dinners (3-4 times/year)
Refugee Ministry
Continue building relationships with existing neighbourhood organizations (e.g. Building Roots, YSM (Yonge Street Mission), Good Shepherd Ministries)
Some Qualifications of the candidate would include:
An active and vibrant faith in Jesus and commitment to the communal life of the church.
Prayerful, open to the working of the Holy Spirit
Demonstrated enthusiasm and compassion for people and community.
A proven leader in matters of mercy and justice.
Experience discerning gifts, equipping, and encouraging volunteer leaders.
A proven team player as well as an independent and strategic thinker.
