Associate Pastor Full Time

Mount Hamilton Baptist Church (MHBC) is seeking a passionate and relational Associate Pastor to join our pastoral team and help lead our church in discipleship, pastoral care, and mission. MHBC is a growing, intergenerational church of approximately 300 people, with a strong desire to be welcoming, community-focused, and intentional in spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop discipleship pathways (small groups, Alpha, prayer initiatives)
Provide pastoral care (visits, calls, prayer, crisis support)
Foster connection and community engagement, especially with newcomers
Support and equip ministry teams and volunteers
Participate in Sunday services (preaching, leadership, volunteer management, presence)
Help lead local and global mission initiatives
Contribute to church administration and communication

Who You Are:

A committed follower of Jesus with a clear call to pastoral ministry
Relational, approachable, and passionate about people
Gifted in discipleship, care, and team leadership
Organized, flexible, and able to balance people-focused ministry with administrative responsibilities
Aligned with the vision and values of MHBC and the CBOQ

Qualifications:

Theological education (MDiv or equivalent preferred)
Ordained or willing to pursue ordination with the CBOQ
