5 PM Sunday Worship Coordinator Part Time

The 5PM Worship Coordinator at NLCC is responsible for coordinating the worship and tech teams for our Sunday 5:00 PM service. They will serve as the primary point person for all matters related to worship and tech, as well as coordinating all other service elements and flow. Additionally, the Worship Coordinator will frequently lead worship and maintain regular connections with their team. Responsible for, but not limited to:

• Schedule worship leaders and teams for Sunday PM services.
• Schedule and coordinate tech teams (sound, lighting, AV, etc.) for Sunday PM services.
• Provide support to worship leaders in areas such as song selection, band rehearsals, arrangement ideas, and service planning for Sunday PM services.
• Lead worship during Sunday PM services as required.
• Coordinate Sunday PM service elements, including prayers, hosting, tech run-throughs, special service elements (video content, mission moments, communion, testimonies, holiday content, etc.).
• Foster regular communication and connection with the worship and tech teams involved in Sunday PM services.

Qualifications

• Experienced musician and worship leader
• Deep passion for Jesus, the church, and worship
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of volunteers
• Knowledge of music and audio/visual technology
• Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship
• Adherence to the MB Confession of Faith

Preferred Start Date is between December 15 and January 15, 2023.
