Ontario Christian Fellowship is looking for a WORSHIP AND TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR to join our quest to Enjoy God, Equip believers and Engage the world. This is purposeful, powerful work.
The Worship and Technology Director will intentionally and effectively draw people into Sunday morning worship at OCF. The position requires a Jesus-loving, technologically-gifted, meticulous musician with good communication skills, a great attitude and healthy work ethic. Core aspects of this job include leading ministry teams, planning worship services, effectively communicating with other church leaders and volunteers, sustaining OCF’s web presence and innovating the welcome and integration of new attendees.
· Plan and orchestrate authentic, seamless Sunday morning worship
o Recruit, train, and disciple volunteer musicians and vocalists (worship team and choir)
o Lead visual design team in stage design
o Oversee tech equipment and sound booth volunteers
o Integrate creative elements within the service (drama, dance, puppets)
o Communicate with Service Coordinator, Host and others to ensure seamless execution of worship service elements
· Develop online presence
o Maintain an informative, easy-to-use, up-to-date church website
o Keep a steady, relevant online social media presence for OCF.
· Frontlines Ministry (attendee integration)
o Develop team of volunteers specifically trained to welcome and integrate new attendees
o Oversee welcome and enfolding of new attendees
· Deep love for Christ, his Word and the church
· Thrives in a collaborative, team environment
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven
· Proficiency with a variety of appropriate technology
· Passion for serving, learning and leading
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
· Experience vocally leading corporate worship
