South Hill Bible Church (SHBC) in Spokane, WA has begun the search for a Senior Pastor to join our pastoral team. In order to help you understand more about us we have prepared three different profiles that summarize our church, our community and the role of Senior Pastor. If you are interested in this position, please review these three profiles.
Application Package (https://shbcspokane.org/jobs/)
After reviewing them, if you believe you may be a good fit, we would like to learn more about you. In order to do that we ask that you send us the following items:
Cover Letter – introducing yourself, letting us know why you believe you may be a good fit for this position, and including any additional information that may not fit in your resume.
Resume – please include contact information (address, phone and email), your professional and volunteer history, your education, and any other details you believe may help us get to know you. We will eventually want to review at least three references that know you well. If you are comfortable sharing those with us now, it would be helpful. We will not contact them before asking your permission.
Our preferred method for receiving your application resume is via email. If you are not comfortable sending it digitally, you are welcome to send a physical copy to us.

In order to fairly review and assess all candidates we will be accepting resumes during the following time period: June 7th – August 6th, 2021. (We will let you know via email that we have received your information.) After this period our Pastor Search Committee will begin the process of reviewing the resume of each candidate we receive. We plan to complete our initial review of all resumes within 2 – 4 weeks. At that point we will communicate with you via email and let you know what next steps there may be.
Our entire church is praying for who it is that God will lead us to through this process. It is exciting and a little bit frightening at the same time. Thank-you for considering this important role in our community.
