Pastor, Cantonese Ministry Full Time

Southwest Chinese Baptist Church (SWCBC) seeks an innovative and energetic pastor to nurture and grow the Cantonese-speaking congregation. The pastor, possessing the spiritual maturity described in 1 Timothy 3, will primarily work with the 30–45 year old age group, consisting mainly of couples and families with children.

Requirements:
1. Commitment to the evangelical faith and practice of SWCBC.
2. Must be a servant leader with proven team-building skills and motivation.
3. Must have at least five years of active pastoral or church leadership ministry experience, preferably in the context of North America.
4. Must have a track record of leading discipleship for individuals and groups.
5. A passion for church evangelism, focusing on outreach to Cantonese-speaking young couples and families.
6. The preferred applicant should be married and demonstrate an exemplary family life.
7. Experience in Marriage Ministries is a plus.
8. Holder of a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent.
9. Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.

This position reports to the Senior Pastor. Annual compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
