Children’s Pastor Full Time

St. James Anglican Church in Calgary is seeking a full-time Children’s Pastor to lead and grow our ministry for children from birth through Grade 6. Our parish is an active community, with more than 300 people worshipping each Sunday and over 30 volunteer-led ministries. Children’s ministry is a vital part of life at St. James, serving approximately 40–60 children and supporting families as we follow Jesus together, within the Anglican tradition. The Children’s Pastor will provide leadership for Sunday programs, summer and Vacation Bible School programming, volunteer teams, family ministry events, special children’s services, and monthly Grade 4–6 gatherings. We are looking for someone with a servant heart, strong communication and organization skills, and a passion for helping children know, love, and follow Jesus. This is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary. Applicants should have 2–4 years of experience working with children, preferably in a church or ministry setting, and be legally entitled to work in Canada. The successful candidate must be willing to complete police and vulnerable sector checks and comply with Diocesan Safe Church requirements.
