Worship Pastor / Coordinator – Tenth Church Oakridge Full Time

We are seeking a Worship Pastor for our new site, Oakridge, to support the Site Pastor to lead worship services and mentor and shepherd a team of musicians and artists.

WAYS YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

• Lead Worship Services: In collaboration with the Site Pastor, plan, prepare and lead worship at our Sunday service regularly. Select, curate and lead songs that reverberate the rich truths of Scripture pointing people to Jesus. Intentionally incorporate various mediums of art to inspire faith, deepen reflection, and equip for whole-life worship.
• Mentor and Shepherd a Team of Musicians, Vocalists & Artists: Nurture first in every member, a growing and deepening life with Christ. Equip, train and encourage excellence through humility. Draw together gifts, skills and personalities into one purpose in Christ.
• Organize with Care: Create rhythms for teams that reflect and prioritize Sabbath rest. Care for the whole congregation collaboratively with other Tenth Oakridge pastors, cultivating gifts in every individual. Lead worship toward Monday into all-life worship.

WHAT YOU BRING: 

• Bachelor’s degree in theology or ministry preferred.
• Proven experience in worship leadership, leader development, and spiritual formation.
• Strong proficiency vocally and in lead instrument.
• A desire to grow alongside those you shepherd, deepening life with Christ, and learning ministry skills and lessons.
• Ability to inspire and mobilize involvement in servant leadership.
• The ability to engage in effective conflict resolution.
• Joy in building relationships with people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds.
• Connects well and has relationships with people who do not yet know Christ or have little to no experience with the church.
• Relational heart and a love for being with people.
• Personable, outgoing, and passionate about forming meaningful connections.
• Spiritual maturity, with a demonstrated commitment to spiritual growth.
• Strong administration and organization skills. An asset, but not required, is a working knowledge and experience with Planning Center and ProPresenter.This is a part-time position where you will work 20 hours per week.

Salary is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $28,000 – $32,000 per annum (based on 20 hours per week)
