Historical and Current Summary of Our Church
The Penticton Church of the Nazarene was established in 1946 by a small group of believers and has grown to a solid faithful core of 145 people
Our church is in a season of transition due to the passing of our youth pastor in 2015 followed by the passing of our much loved Lead Pastor of 29 years in 2018 and the unexpected departure of his successor in 2019. Subsequently, we currently have a transition pastor who has been guiding us through this challenging time. Our church has undergone a detailed evaluation which has aided in the assessment and direction for the future of our church. (The assessment report will be available to potential candidates)
Our church is ready to move ahead under the guidance of a new lead pastor. Currently we are a mature congregation, but we earnestly seek to grow with younger families with youth and with children and to serve and support our community. We are a church with a heart to build deep caring and authentic relationships that reflect the love of Christ to the world around us.
