Have you ever wanted to serve the Downtown Eastside community, but in a more behind-the-scenes type role? Are you natural at planning and organizing? Are you a skilled communicator? Do you make service and teamwork top priorities? If yes, we want you to join our fast-paced and dynamic outreach team. You will be assisting in varied administrative and clerical duties in order to serve staff and guests in a timely, proficient, and grace-filled manner. You will use a variety of current technology to edit, proof-read, track, reconcile, coordinate, and communicate. You will also use your well-developed interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people in a way that displays respect, tact, and diplomacy. If you are a godly individual with a heart to serve the DTES and have several years of administrative experience, then this part-time role might be the perfect fit.
You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
