We are looking for a Ministry Support Worker on our Hastings Chaplaincy and Outreach team. This position involves ministering to the individuals living in the neighbourhood of the Hastings facility. The job may include making referrals for housing, clothing, shelter, recovery and a wide variety of other duties as needed.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
There are two auxiliary, full-time positions; one is 6 months and one is 1 year. These positions will have five shifts per week with evening and/or overnight hours, ranging between 4pm to 8am. The 1 year position will have Tuesday to Saturday shifts scheduled between 4pm-8am. The six-month position will have three set days on Friday to Sunday and two floating shifts between Monday-Thursday (shifts scheduled between 4pm-8am).
