Are you a mature Christian who models Christ in word and deed? Are you passionate about providing high-quality and culturally diverse Early Years programming? Do you have strong teamwork and leadership skills to oversee program staff and advise on matters of children education, safety, family relations and relevant communication? If so, this position might be of great interest to you. You will use your strong interpersonal and supervisory skills to develop and oversee the ECE program, working closely with the all staff, as well as the children and their families—some of which will be in early stages of recovery. You will also provide advocacy and referrals in order to support children and families in a trauma-informed and women-centered way. Using your expert communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of community care licensing requirements and BC’s Early Learning Framework, you will develop UGM’s child care licensing manual. If you have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, 5 years of related work experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience, a BC ECE Certificate, and a class 5 driver’s license this could be a great fit!
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
