WestGate Church is passionate about raising up the next generation of church leaders.  Just as medical students hone their craft in a clinical residency, pastors benefit from immersive training under skilled leaders.

As a Pastoral Resident in the 2026-2027 cohort, you will grow in your ability to do ministry within the context of a local church while intentionally deepening your spiritual formation and leadership skills. This 9-month commitment, August through May, will provide you with perspective on vocational ministry, specifically within your area of ministry emphasis, depending on your giftings, your interests, and WestGate’s needs:

• Next Gen: College-Age
• Creative Engagement and Communication
• Community, Prayer, and Pastoral Care
