Executive Pastor

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a capable, gospel-centered, relational leader with a passion for pastoral care, preaching, and discipleship, who is committed to fostering spiritual growth within the church community.
Role Summary:
The Executive Pastor reports to the Lead Pastor and serves as a shepherd (Elder) upholding the character qualities outlined in 1 Tim 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. This role supports the Lead Pastor with responsibilities such as preaching and pastoral care, church operations and systems as well as ministry programs including Baptism and Membership. Theological alignment with the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches’ (CCMBC) Confession of Faith is required (access HERE).
Position: Full-time
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000/year (in accordance with BCMB salary guidelines).
Benefits: Benefits and pension are provided through CCMBC. Professional development budget and book allowance.
